Our Story
Located at 9039 State Route 259 in Lost City, West Virginia, and opening April 29, 2022, Richard & Karen Hamilton along with their daughter and son-in-law, Joleah & Brett Tharp opened a farm market/general store to serve the eastern part of Hardy County, WV. (Formally South End Grocery) Located in the Lost River Valley the family strives to provide goods for locals and visitors. From produce to groceries, to deli meats/cheeses, to baked goods, to hardware, to automotive, to sporting goods, to country hams, to plants, to gifts and much more, the owners and market crew members work together to provided needed products for the convenience of the community.

Foods
Fresh produce is available at the market & brought in weekly. Creamery milk fresh from dairies are a local favorite. All types of bulk candies are available from gumdrops to chocolates!
Walnut Creek brand groceries are a quality and affordable selection we also have. These items are sourced from the Amish country in Ohio. A great selection of Walnut Creek brand deli meats and cheeses are also available. Locally sourced beef, pork, chicken, rabbit, and eggs are sold at the market.
Hardware & Automotive
A large variety of hardware and automotive products are in two sections of the market. Plumbing, electrical, fasteners, tools, home & garden, automotive and lawn mower belts, automotive parts and fluids, and much, much more!!!
Kite's Hams
A popular item is Kite's Sugar Cured Hams. Also known as Kite's Happy Hams. Hams are sold whole by the pound, or slices are available. Another option is already cooked ham, deli style, at the meat and cheese counter.
Bakery and Made to Order Foods
Fresh baked goods are a treat anytime! Breads, cookies, pies, parfaits, candies, and much more can be found in the bakery section.
Hot and cold menu items along with weekday specials are available pre-made and/or made to order.
